Green Tie at the Zoo

May 3 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

The Green Tie event is a fun way for YOU to make a difference in improving our environment, communities and public health. Green Tie benefits the Tennessee Environmental Council who has been caring for Tennesse’s environment since 1970. Green Tie is a great opportunity to have fun while celebrating the Council’s successes and networking with other environmental and political leaders in Tennessee.

Green Tie at the Zoo is hosted by the Honorable Bob Freeman & Rachel Freeman, Rod & Antonia McDaniel, Adam Butler of the New England Patriots, and Piedmont Natural Gas.

We would like to have YOUR support to make this year’s Green Tie at the Zoo the best, most fun, and meaningful party we have ever thrown to celebrate Tennessee’s environment and the people who work year in and year out to make our beautiful state even more spectacular.

Green Tie will feature live bluegrass music by the talented and energetic “Sheriff Scott and the Deputies,” an Animal Mingle with two Zoo animals from 6-6:30 pm, a fun silent auction with a wide array of local products and services, the presentation of the annual Sustainable Tennessee Award, great food, craft beer, wine, and a dessert hour which will take place at the Zoo Carousel. Carousel rides for all!

Early bird tickets are now available for $75 until April 10th or until the first 100 tickets are sold. After that, the ticket price will increase to $95.

We would like to thank our sponsors of this event, S3 Recycling Solutions, Cedar City Consulting, Vicki Turner, Sandra Kurtz, Mary Mastin & Brian Paddock, WME, Hastings Architecture and Mars Petcare.
