The Chestnut Group Painters: Plein Air Painting for Land & Water Conservation

Join representatives from Friends of The Chestnut Group to learn about how plein air painting is used to promote land and water conservation. Kim Barrick, Tiffany Foss, and Jane Coble will speak about the history of the Chestnut Group and the art of plein art painting. This talk kicks off The Chestnut Group’s show benefiting the Cumberland River Compact. Attendees will have the opportunity to view and purchase the original paintings featuring the Cumberland River watershed.

All River Talks are free and open to the public. You may reserve an optional lunch for $10 or bring your own.
Where: The Cumberland River Compact, located on the 3rd floor of the Bridge Building, 2 Victory Ave, Nashville, TN 37213.
Parking: Free parking is available in Lot R South of the Nissan Stadium parking lot. Permitted parking is available in Lot R NW. Map and passes are below.
Schedule: Doors open and lunch will be available at 11:30 am, the presentation will run from 12:00-12:50.
